Mae Sot Refugee Voice is a group based in the Thai border town of Mae Sot. It was founded this year to advocate on behalf of Myanmar refugees and asylum seekers in Thailand. They’ve faced a recent backlash online from those who want them to stop staging protests in front of the UNHCR (U.N. High Commissioner for Refugees) office in Mae Sot and at its headquarters in Bangkok, Thailand.
